Dr. John Wirthlin is one of a few orthodontists in the nation who has completed a fellowship in Craniofacial Orthodontics.
His patients value his specialized training and experience, which enable him to create treatment plans for all kinds of patients—from those with straightforward orthodontic needs to those with a history of cleft lip, cleft palate, or other craniofacial abnormalities.
But what they most appreciate is his friendly manner and honest, straightforward approach.
Dr. Wirthlin continues to practice part-time on the cleft palate and craniofacial teams at Texas Children’s Hospital.

You may have seen him with his four kids at the soccer fields or at the local elementary, middle, or high school (he’s got kids in all three!).
He loves hanging out with his family around the table playing games. In his free time, he enjoys water skiing, snow skiing, camping, and hiking.
